Pool was slightly warmed, NOT HEATED. Otherwise fine stay.

This property is an older mobile home that is missing furniture and lamps. Very little in the way of pots and pans but new appliances. Very disappointed that we were not told that we couldn’t use the pool without paying an additional fee that had to be requested 4 days prior to our stay. The notice was on the check in information which we didn’t get until the day we checked in! There is no grill which kept us from cooking at home. The home is very close to the golf cart trails and Spanish Center. The couch and bed are both very uncomfortable. The only decent furniture is an antique wood dinette set with no table cloth or mats so had to use paper towels under our drinks to keep from staining it. Two porches and a patio with NO furniture! We would look for another rental if we were to return to the Villages.

To start with communication with host was poor, I had to utilise Vrbo support. I had booked for 5 nights but stayed for one. The house had a musty odour throughout. There were trip hazards, in the uneven flooring, the worn rugs which had upturned corners and edges. The shower sealant was black with mould and the shower partition glass was covered in limescale. Fittings and furniture were well beyond their sellby date and require replacements. Neighbours appear to use the house grounds as a thorough fare.

It was welcoming for our dog. The closest pool was closed. I enjoyed another pool. It would have been nice to have a frying pan and other pots and pans that were in good condition. If I was the owner I would throw away some of those pans. We only had one dish towel. I couldn’t find any scissors. The couch was very uncomfortable and there was no chair in the living room. The property was exactly as pictured/described!! It was extremely clean and offered all of the necessities to feel at home! The host, Patti, was very accommodating and didn't really ask much of us at check out! We will definitely come back here on our next visit!
